Aqua Aerobics with circuit Training

Burn Calories and boost your stamina with this intermediate-level Swimming Class. This 60-minute period consists of Circuit stations in which different mechanical drills are performed to create muscle endurance, enhance aerobic threshold, and improve swimming technique, sensory and mainly emphasizing the basics of freestyle swimming. Every 10 minutes, clients engage in a mix of challenging, technique-based exercises that vary from high-intensity sprints to targeted muscle group exercises, incorporating interval training with water weights. All stations require continuous movement, resulting in an overall great cardiovascular workout. Clients are encouraged to bring goggles and fins and must demonstrate the ability to swim at least 200 meters comfortably.

Hydropilates

This class consists of a series of non-impact stretching exercises in the water that require precise breathing and muscle control. Clients are trained to condition the body from inside and out using water exercises that involve core mechanics, trunk stabilization, and correct posture. Practicing Pilates in the water allows individuals with land limitations to enhance muscle strength, and improve flexibility while training muscles to act as stabilizers. Warm water environments are encouraged as warmer temperatures facilitate range of motion around the joints, and create a natural resistance that is optimal for an increase in muscular endurance, & whole body relaxation. All swimming levels are welcomed. On occasions, water bands may be incorporated into the fitness workout to enhance resistance and improve muscular strength.

Aqua Fitness & HydroBooT Camps

Spice up your day and have fun with this 60-minute total-body water workout, designed to improve your strength and flexibility while performing a workout that is great for overall fitness. The class consists of an 8-10 minute dynamic warm-up that flows smoothly into a challenging combination of cardiovascular water exercises in shallow water. Clients then proceed into deep water to tone and strengthen individual muscle groups using various types of water equipment, such as noodles and water weights. Class participants are encouraged to target muscles using a variation of upper body, lower body, and core exercises while maintaining proper posture and balance in deep water. The last 10 minutes of the class involve gentle stretching movements and yoga poses to loosen tight muscles. While all levels of swimmers are welcome, clients are encouraged to be comfortable with continuously transitioning between shallow and deep water, even with the aid of a flotation device, for a more enjoyable experience. Please note that the Ideal water temperature for this class is above 78 degrees. Participants are encouraged to use a wetsuit for temperatures lower than 78°F in order to continue performing the suggested exercises comfortably.

    Bronze

    New to swimming? We can help introduce your child to be comfortable in the water. Condition your child to water safety, front floating , back floating and safe submersions.

    Silver

    Learn your Swimming Fundamentals, such as breath control, streamline front and back floats, water gliding, doggie paddle, back kicking, frog kicks, and Introduction to breast stroke swimming.

    Gold

    This class level focuses on an introduction to proper swim stroke development. Clients will focus on streamline kicks, beginner Freestyle (CatCH up Freestyle) , sculling water with kicks, Catch up Breathing , proper backstroke, and treading water.

    Platinum

    Our Platinum level emphasizes freestyle swimming, dolphin kicks, deep water conditioning, backstroke, breaststroke, and deep water submersion.
